Meet Mary Glasheen, DDS

Dr. Mary Glasheen is a General Dentist in Lubbock, TX. She was raised in a small farming community in southeast Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University and went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. She completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Hampton, Virginia, and then worked in private practice in San Diego, California while her husband David served as a US Marine. In the summer of 2020, she moved home to Texas and settled with her family in Lubbock. She is thrilled to be serving the South Plains communities.

Dr. Glasheen has a heart for the Texas small town and loves the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of her patients. She enjoys treating families and incorporating preventive and evidence-based dental practices into her work. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Texas Dental Association (TDA), the American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the South Plains District Dental Society, and the Pankey Alumni Association. Dr. Glasheen has served on the South Plains District Dental Society Board for two years where she has coordinated and participated in several volunteer projects including Give Kids a Smile, Lubbock Impact Dental Clinic, Everyone for Veterans, and Texas Mission of Mercy. Because of her high level of clinical care, service to her community, and leadership, Dr. Glasheen was the South Plains nominee for Texas New Dentist of the Year 2022.

Dr. Glasheen and her husband David have three small children who are their greatest joy, and when not in the office she loves to spend time with her family.
